Consignment Guidelines
New clients. Please call ahead to make an appointment to bring clothes in, appointments can not be made by email, call us at 613-730-9039. If you are familiar with the neighbourhood you’ll only need to remember the ‘9039’.
Clean & pressed! Launder or dryclean all clothes before bringing them to the store, especially if they have been in storage for a season. Overall appearance and cleanliness is taken into account when setting the price.
Less than 2 years old! (Please NO exceptions) Bring in only current styles. Even if the original tags are still on, if it’s old it won’t sell.
Existing clients. Drop off your seasonal items from January 15 until April 15 for spring and summer and July 15 until October 15 for fall and winter.
Labels. Customers like to see a label, to see the brand, size and care instructions. For consigning, please leave the labels on!
Quality. Top quality items sell, but we cater to all budgets.
Size & Style. We carry sizes from 2 to 22 plus, as long as the garments meet the above requirements.
Timing. Remember we sell a season ahead! People who bring their clothes in early each season are the most successful. Clothes that are consigned must stay for at least 60 days.
Compensation. When your clothes are sold, you will receive 45% of the final selling price. It is the responsibility of the customer to stay in contact with the store regarding the sale and or pickup of their clothes. Any unsold items must be picked up no later than February 28 for fall and winter and August 30 for spring and summer, please call ahead to arrange pick-up. No exceptions.
Clothes that are not accepted for consignment, or have not been sold at the end of the season will be donated to charity.
